Poor Little Baby

Yesterday, I ran downstairs to switch laundry out. When I came back up I heard this far away pitiful sound. This is what I found. The older kids had shut the sliding glass door when they came in just a minute before JD decided he wanted in. Poor little baby! (I'll admit, I was glad they did shut the door because JD was caked in mud.)

Talk about gut-wrenchingly good. It was really hard to keep from heapin more on our plates.

Talkin bout gut-wrenchingly good...look at this.

Hmmmmm......Look at that Cross Bones...and y'all thought I was talkin bout the man. Shame on you. For shame, for shame, for shame. Actually, I was talkin bout the man. Not the bike. I know the man was thinkin bout the bike though. Poor little baby! Keep dreamin on that one! Dreams do come true. One day, I'm not opposed to it, one day. Just remember, it's either gonna be a two-seater or a double loan. It's all up to you!

Mom's Weekend Fishin Trip

This is LONG overdue but I though I'd share about my weekend of fishin, just me, my aunt and my dog.

We had some good fishin. Each night we fished from 10 p.m.-2:30 a.m. We had a lot of laughs, drank a lot of coffee, and probably made a bunch of people in the area wish we weren't there! We were both sick with allergies/sinus infections so every time we laughed it ended in long loud hacking coughs. There was nothin healthy about it at all!

Prix loves fishin. She'll watch the poles and as soon as they dip, she's up and prancin around, sloshin in the water, followin the line down into the water to catch the fish. I let her have one to eat the second night we were there. Fish bones crunch real easy in a chow's chomp!

My aunt and I got to grill some food that would never have worked had our guys been there with us. We roasted fresh coconut:

And grilled chicken and pineapple chunks on skewers:

Each night we were serenaded by a couple packs of coyotes.

Jd is the same age as Wyatt was when he got stuck in the stock pot....Remember?

Wyatt was right around 14 1/2-15 months old. Jd is 14 1/2 months.
