Wednesday dawned a gorgeous day. The kids had a lot of fun outside:
Easton, of course, found a particular hat of Uncle Eric's and didn't want to take it off. I tried to get him to wear another one but he was adamant on this one. Great. What kind of an aunt am I? And I took a picture no less:
Addyson and Easton had a fight on the way home. It went somethin like this:
E: I get to sleep on Uncle Eric's pillow.
A: That's not your Uncle Eric! He's MY Uncle Eric
E: No! He's MY Uncle Eric!
A: Okay, but Aunt Janae is MY Aunt Janae!
E: No! She's MY Aunt Janae!
In the afternoon, E called me and said he thought we should bbq so we got the fire goin.
We made onion burgers and they were delicious!
Wyatt has been in a rare form of somethin between a mad sow grizzly, possessive over his toys and a typical 2 yr old testin mommy's patience. He's just been downright ornery! He's stompin on things, knockin things over just to see them fall, bustin up stinks for the fire like he's the Hulk and soakin his legs in the water bucket after watchin Buster do it because he was hot. He kept kickin the fire poker stick over.
Meanwhile, Jd was content rollin around in the dirt and grass:
We decided to feed the boys early because, once again, they are not sleepin but 20 minutes for their afternoon nap. They love to eat outside and have been since they were newborn babies nursin.
Wyatt happily ate an ice cream sandwich:
But unhappily realized it was gone so fast.
I took a couple shots of some spring growth.
Chives are almost ready to bloom:
The Hen and Chicks are startin to green up:
There was a haze in the sky due to all the range-burning in all the surrounding counties. The sunset was in bright orange and red hues. It was a beautiful end to a busy and prosperous day and an evening outside relaxing.
