You can take the woman outta the country but ya ain't takin the country outta the woman
Welcome to my old-fashioned, family-lovin, front-yard-sittin life where the company's right fine, the drinks are cold and the laughs are a plenty. Light a shuck and enjoy.
I was born in western Kansas. I met the man across the street and we knew our paths had crossed for a Reason. I am very proud to be his wife and mother to our boys. I am happiest when I'm outdoors, teaching and watching our boys learn and grow. My husband is my best friend, confidant and lifelong love. We're simple, down-to-earth country folk, stuck at the moment, in town. We're old-fashioned and many people belive we have a little too much sun on our neck. We spend many nights and most weekends under our big maple with family and friends. During the winter we either have a fire goin in the front yard or we're in the garage. We do a lot of cookin on the fire. I bake and cook all from scratch. We both love to fish the river. I fished the Smoky Hill when I was young and my husband grew up on the Neosho. Our boys love dirt and mud. We have two dogs: Prix, a chow mix and Buster a 75 lb chocolate lab.
I'm pretty darned relaxed when it comes to our boys bein outside and gettin dirty. I think it's good for them. Look!
This is a very regular occurence. At least 3 times a week. You think I'm kiddin? I am not. It's good for him. He loves it. We have a hose. There's the dog's water too, to wash off in. It don't hurt a blasted thing!
